Old News / GET YOUR OFFICIAL CLOCKDAY PRELOADER HERE
August 14, 2009, 11:17:04 AM
Funnily enough I just tried that, and it still didn't work. However, I then went and deleted the real-time clock face from later in the movie which wasn't working anyway, which for some reason solved the problem. Can't say I understand this version of Flash. Thanks for your help anyway.

I haven't used Flash in ages and I really can't work out how to get this to work. When I paste it into the first frame of my movie it just moves on to the next frame. If I make the preloader bit last for several frames, the preloader animation just loops before carrying on. I'm using CS4 and I've tried saving as CS3, and I've used both the AS2 and AS3 versions.

Flash & Flash Accessories / Tweening on CS4
January 25, 2009, 08:52:29 AM
So I want to tween an object that starts in one position, goes to another then returns to its original position. I would like it to ease out on the first transition then ease in on the second. However, if I select ease in for one frame it seems to change it for the entire tween, so I can only have the whole thing ease out or the whole thing ease in. Is there a way around this? Furthermore, it seems impossible to select frames that are part of a tween - you seem to have to select the whole thing.

Edit: Oh, I have to select "classic tween". Okay then.

Flash & Flash Accessories / How do I obtain Flash
January 16, 2009, 01:29:00 PM
I can't afford to buy Flash, and it's something I don't use frequently these days. It's just nice to have, plus I had an idea for something. I am of the opinion that it's morally acceptable not to pay for it (at least, not the ridiculous price they offer) providing you don't make any money from it. Could somebody not give me a link to something useful via PM?

Flash & Flash Accessories / How do I obtain Flash

I had a trial of CS3 on here for a while but it expired - I used a keygen which worked for a month but then told me I had to 'activate' which I didn't want to risk. So then I tried a torrent of CS4 but the download time was three days. Then I tried to download a trial of CS4 from Adobe but it told me I had to download some component first which was almost a gigabyte, which is ridiculous. Can anyone point me in the direction of an easy way to get a copy of Flash? Would like CS4 but Flash 8 or something will do if it's going to be that much trouble.

In the film Valiant, they had little flags with the red Times New Roman "B" on them.
