You can check if an egg is still good by putting it in a glass of water. If it lies on its side it's fresh, if it bobs up vertically but remains on the bottom it's still good, if it floats it's baaad.

Cool! It would be even nicer if the sword had more of a sense of weight to it. It looks like it just goes where his hand goes, instead of his hand/arm having to expend energy to keep it in the air.

I think the top two bands of colour dominate the picture too much. It's like you added them to balance out the image, and they have a kind of heartlessness to them for their practicality. They are so heavy and homogeneous compared to the other details. They suffocate the image, for me.
