After a few trials of this you can determine if it is a heat issue. Alternatively if you installed the GPU it could be an inadequate power supply shutting off to prevent an overload.

As much as I love the revamped Vanilla from Cataclysm, I can barely stand the few hours in Outlands and surprisingly I HATE Northrend. Never gave the real Cata or Panda endgame a shot though. Shame, I recall having fun sometimes with this game.
