if you get zelda, mario odyssey, mario kart 8 and smash you now have a modern day n64 and could survive off that entirely for a few years.

but donkey kong country tropical freeze and hollow knight are also really good options. hollow knight is the first truly great and unique metroid/castlevania style platformer I've played since cave story. (also on switch but kinda overpriced there).

I got Breath of the Wild and the port of that Wii U Mario game with the long ass name. Smash is obviously on the radar, but didn’t wanna buy too many since I’m low key scared I won’t play any of these. also really do want animal crossing for some reason tbh. Can’t wait to play that twice and forget about it for 10 years like I did with the other ones
