Usenet, anyone?

Demonoid is down for good it seems. I have been looking into Usenet as a replacement lately, anyone here ever use it before? How much content is on it, how easy is it to use? What Usenet service provider is a good choice?

I have a year subscription to Astraweb and it is the mother fucking bomb. For $8 a month, you get unlimited access to everything, maxing out your speed each time. Click a thing and download. Last year at my hall, I used their 100mbps internet with this and it was just ridiculous, it would take longer to put on a memory stick than it would to download it. Downloading from usenet, when you use the secure servers, is completely anonymous as well. A bunch of my mates got banned for torrenting stuff, but I was absolutely fine with filling out my 3.5TB of hard drives.

That newshosting looks like a rip off.
