whenever i import an AT&T natural voices .wav file to flash it becomes really high pitched and weird. I've never had this problem before- what do i do?

FLOUNDERMAN_CLOCK

save em as WAVs in audacity that tends to fix any compatibility problems I've had.

check sound settings in publish settings

weird..

Find a bitrate flash likes and stick with it. Uncommon ones make flashy go nutty

It's not that they go screwy after publishing- they act weird just in the library preview, so it's gotta be something about the importing of the file. I haven't touched my audio settings ever, to my recollection.

Other sound files are working perfectly fine- even old AT&T natural voice files i copy paste from other .fla's.

I am at a loss.

well importing them in audacity like flounder said should totally fix your problem since you can publish them in audacity in various settings that should work fine for flash
