My kitty's urethra keeps blocking and he can't urinate on his own. They unblocked it and had him on a catheter for a while and took it out yesterday morning and he blocked again. We set up a payment plan to cover the second treatment with the catheter to try and help him pass whatever's blocking him, but if that fails again we're left the option of surgery to widen his urethra which is between $2000 and $3000, which we don't have. This happened so fast and we weren't emotionally or financially prepared for something like this. I don't want to give up on my kitty because of money. He is like a son to me and my best friend. Had him ever since he was born. He was the one kitty in the litter that chose us. Please help, anything will help out. I know this is a shot in the dark but we'll never give up the chance of holding our sweet angel in our arms.

I have almost literally no money at the moment, but I will in a week or so. I still won't be able to donate much, but I'd like to help. When do you think you'll need the money by? Will a week be too late?

Any thing donated will be going towards the bills already accumulated and the cost of the surgery if it comes down to that. We're using care credit for the first $1800 and a payment plan for another $750 for the second treatment with the catheter. Any thing will help towards the cause at any time. I really appreciate you guys are willing to help me. I have "close friends" that know me in person who haven't even donated while Slurpee has gone above and beyond. I can't thank Slurpee enough!!! {{{ }}}

Called the doctor this morning, he's saying Kitty's urine is looking as clear as he's ever seen it. Meaning there's little to no blood in it, which is great news! Kitty was acting playful when I saw him last night. He was trying to walk right out of the cage. IV, catheter and all. I wanted to just scoop him right up and walk him right out the front doors. Broke my heart he had to stay. :(

Fingers crossed for tonight when they pull the catheter for the second time! Hoping he doesn't get blocked again!

Dude, that sucks. My cat was recently diagnosed with diabetes and the vet had to admit him for a few days while they assessed his insulin needs and shit. I had to apply for credit or watch him wither. I'm $2k in debt because I couldn't let him go... and still have to pay $50 additional per month for needles and medicine.

Can't promise much... but hopefully I can send something your way.

Got some great news today! My kitty got to come home from the vet!!! They took the second catheter out last night yesterday and my kitty was urinating on his own with little to no blood in it!!! He's so happy to be home! Unfortunately since he blocked the first time, that puts him at risk of it happening again, which would make our last option to save him be the surgery. Any donation made is going to the already accumulated vet bill and the surgery if we have to go down that path. It's never to late to help out my Kitty. Thank everyone for your love and support! Keep my kitty in your thoughts and let's hope this tragic incident doesn't repeat itself!
