if you don't play the dlc in me2, things in ME3 won't be the same for you.

Oh wait, yes they will be. lots of things you did in the previous two games didn't change or result in anything other than some snippets of dialogue. What you killed the rachni queen in me1? reapers bring them back anyway using space magic loloolol. You saved collector ship and gave it to illusive man? lol he doesn't even use it in me3 and slowly becomes indoctrinated no matter what you decide to do with the ship.

Yes i'm aware some things did change things in ME3 but a lot of it--such as the rachni queen, collector ship, Shadow broker dlc, that last piece of DLC for me2 with the countdown clock (can't remember what it was called off the top of my head) etc etc didn't even fucking matter because nothing in terms of outcome changed which is exactly what bioware marketed ME3 to be and failed to deliver. This is old news btw and came to a tipping point with the endings controversy.

Quote from: NintendoClock;1916174not really. Liara is revealed as the broker whether you play through the DLC on me2 or not.

OMFG WOW THANKS FOR SPOILING IT FOR ME ASSHOLE

Quote from: clammo;1916203let me further elaborate for you:
so youre suggesting that if you kill the rachni queen, then they'd have to completely gut the grunt mission out of the game for you. or rework the entire mission so that youre fighting something else instead of rachni. so thats two different missions they have to put in the game. thats one less mission you get to have in the story overall.

Not at all. They could have easily swapped out the rachni for another krogan genetic army like the one seen on virmire assuming you killed the queen in the first game. I don't remember seeing any krogan husk-like enemies in ME3. That would've been awesome. Instead they were just like nope, space magic, rachni are back no matter what. Deal with it.

And considering the promises bioware made when the first and second games came out, yes ME3 should have dealt with all choices in a more significant way than some crummy dialogue that lasts all of 3 seconds. ESPECIALLY the choices that they implied had some significance like the rachni queen and the collector ship. That's what the franchise was supposed to be all about. Choices that have actual consequences.

This is obviously nit picky shit of course but it was disappointing. I still enjoyed ME3 but it could have been better.

NintendrCkolc

I replayed ME3 this past month.

I had fun. Ending still sucks, but overall I think it's a good game. Once you accept it for what it is anyway.

That is all.

also, I still dont understand how this got into the spam forum
