I was gonna play it because it looked really really newgroundsy but I kept waiting and the the endless stream of thirstposting and fanart only made because it's popular slowly killed my interest. I feel a similar way about Resident Evil 8 and that's not even out.

I don't know if it's a hot take or not but I'm happy for Newgrounds that this game has been such a runaway success as to drive interest back to the site and revive its relevance somewhat

Yeah, if you can tap into the audiance, then you have a chance to expose them to stuff, my shitty FNF spam submissions have netted me a few fans who came to NG just for FNF, so that's great, more eyes on stuff I get co'ed on! I do hope even a handful of these people also chip in and become supporters, that'd help.

On the other hand, I don't like FNF because it's to popular, and gets dull seeing similar submissions over, and over, as well as many FNF fans not taking an active part in the portal, which would really help, but now they have been exposed somewhat to the rest of NG (I even saw some post on the BBS!!!) then maybe it will begin a new golden age.

All in all, it's like a mixed bag innit.
