Solenoidclock

I know it's not the regular art lounge fare, but I wanted to get this problem out to the public. I'm not sure if it's solvable yet. I'm hoping someone can help me on that front.

It gets easier to fill in once you figure out how to cancel out the oscillators, (eg. when there are two twos outside of the two blank, etc.) but I've hit some bizarre chaotic chain reactions trying to solve this.

Holy crap, update. The puzzle has been solved. The puzzle has been solved by one of my fourth grade students. Today, at approximately 10:20 AM, CST. Her solution was;

0 1
1 7
2 3
3 2
4 1
5 1
6 1
7 2
8 1
9 1

I'm believe there are more solutions, but in her honor I am naming this Madison's solution.

Wait, you're a teacher?

Also, I don't even get what you're supposed to do.

No, I just designed it that way so my fourth graders didn't think it too dry. :P

Wii, I'm an intern. I've been for almost a year and a half now.

VCR, I've read a book on autograms, and by no great coincidence I started teaching recursion today.

Airpump, you have to fill in the blanks, numbered 0-9, with the total instances of the number on that page. For example, 10 would increase the totals for both one and zero, and the initial 0-9 is also counted once in their respective places. The puzzle is hard because the totals for any one number will modify others, or sometimes itself.

Maths was never my strong point.

Drawing penises on school work during class though, that's a different story. . .

Ah, that would've been my first guess. Thanks Solenoid.
