Xbox360 Flashing?

I'm interested in flashing my xbox for completely not illegal purposes, and i'm wondering what is the easiest, or most cost effective (either, really) way of doing it? I know its possible and since my xbox live doesn't work where i am, i'm really considering it.

If your looking for the 3 red lights which means your 360 is dead, they're almost impossible to achieve on purpose as it relates to a specific problem. but if you wrap your 360 in a few plastic bags you can get it to overheat which causes a 2 red light flash and you can just let it cool down and restart.
