I stuck my iPod nano (3rd generation piece of shit) into my USB to charge overnight.

It's locked itself and won't do anything now!
Anyone have experience with this kind of thing?

Mine's crashed a few times. You can restart them by holding down the play button and the middle button i think.

Okay so I locked and unlocked it 10 or so times, held middle and MENU, turned it back on and it's started working!
But all of my music is gone.

I hate the first time sync, because it takes ages ):
