So, I believe most you have heard the story about filling the empty glass with stone first, and then sand, and finally water.

Well, that's what my physics teacher pulled on us in the final day of summer class.

So, I think he's trying to be nerdy and show off his knowledge and try to impress people with that story. He took out an empty glass:

Teacher: "Is this glass empty?"
Confused students: "Yes..."
Teacher puts lots of stones in and ask: "Is this glass still empty?"
Students: "Not really..."
Teacher nods and puts lots of sand, and he asks: "But it still can take some sands. Is this glass still empty now?:
Students: "Not at all..."
Teacher pulls out a water bottle and pours the water into the glass, and he says: "But it still can take some water!"
Students: (WTF? Hax!)
Teacher: "What does this story tell us, my dear students?"

Isison: "Sir, this story tells us: the glass is like our stomach, you need to eat big stuff like hamburgers and loaded potatoes first. When your stomach feels full, don't be fooled because you actually still can eat more smaller stuff like rice and philly beef. When your stomach feels full again, don't be fooled because you actually still can drink some more soda or juice! I mean, our dinning court is buffet!"
