Listening to all this talk about traditional media, I really should install Corel Painter on this thing. I mean, I've got version IX right there on my shelf. :p

Quote from: Forget that Lump fella;1409213I should look into this *gouache* paint. I am currently working with watercolor colored pencils for my graphic novel. It's nice and I like the control of the pencils, but still getting the pasty look after I apply water with brush. I'm a real acrylic man myself, seeing as it is SOOOOOO much more forgiving than oil based paints. However, I do love oil pastels; my father has done some amazing pieces with them.

Do you have any other pieces to look at, I am rather interested in these pieces and I would love to see more (if you aren't against show casing).
Do you want to see more things like painting or drawing or both?

I've posted a few things I've drawn a few times, I could dig those up for you if you wanted and I'll see if I can dig through and get a few pictures of some paintings.

Perhaps...the worst torture I put myself through and made 3D tissue paper fairy dolls?

Yes, yes. Both would be wonderful, I'm really more towards your paintings, but I love to look at artwork as it comes.

I have a few things on my deviantart account, but none of my paintings (I think). I might have one there...

Hold On.

Also, I don't do any art I don't want to, and if I dislike something going on in the piece I usually trash it and start over (the only exception being paintings).

EDIT: Here ya Go.

Alrighty, I've gotta upload some stuff anyway.

I sure hope you aren't violently opposed to a teeny bit of abstract.

That answers my question of whether or not you've seen my work. I guess it's been a while since I put stuff up, huh? Well, Ultimate Clocks does count for something I guess.

Please, take a look. The links in my sig. Also, wow... It's been almost two years since I started Ultimate Clocks... sheesh

I will art this for great justice

EDIT: In the near future, I still have a few more hours here @work.

TeddyBear

Clockcrew saw this.

Picture that won my art show in 11th grade...gouache!

Close up of the cranes...

I'm way too lazy to edit this, haha. More calla lilies, in pencil. Yay, it's like most of my height!

Clock crew did not see the print I made of that fish above.
It's the comparison, the print is reversed because I etched it into a plate before making my prints. So technically, this is 3 pieces!
Best closeup of the actual print I could get, done in ink.
Closeup of the painting you like, Lump, it's the green set obviously.

Watercolor abstract art, concept had to be time.

Did this in a notebook but I thought it was too cute to not photograph!

Sorry for it being so small, she's not a furry she's a Playboy bunny.

Colored pencil birdy!

Some pansies in my garden, I'm going to watercolor them.

Primo, Teds! My eyes are alight!

Awesome, and you read my mind. xD

Fluxxy wouldn't be too happy if it looked like I was having an e-affair!

What's the one with the smudgy numbers? Very abstract.

Portrayal of time.

I wanted to essentially hint at "woah shit time goes so fast you can't see it and when you realize it's there, it's gone!" type of thing.
I like how it looks even if it was supposed to have a meaning, if it doesn't look like it has one it's still cool to me.

Very nice! These are all good pieces, but I especially like the sketch of the calla lilies and the piece with the cranes. I am, however, highly impressed by the print version of the koi. It looks like a lot of time and effort went into it, which really shows in the final piece (which is very detailed).

Thank you! The plate took me...oh god I think 9 hours? Followed by a few hours of making sure it was perfect and trial and error for getting the printing to work.

Also Flux and I are dating. :3

EDIT: I just looked at quite a bit of your stuff, I like. I have a friend who draws and paints kind of like you do. I really like it!

I posted this here too, I've fixed it a little, but not enough to make a huge difference.

It looks like all the criticism has been touched on, but I can't seem to locate her arms... :c

I like the idea though. I just have one question: Why would she be wearing a corset and nothing else save a very shody leaf skirt. They don't cover anything, so why have them at all. It's not even the leaf skirt thingy either. It's really just the corset out of place.

So here's what I think: you should commit to dressing her or undressing her, no fence-sitting. The leaf skirt can (probably) stay though, seeing as it probably has more spiritual sentiment than clothing purposes.

EDIT: Also, I'll be making two drawings now. One with regular ol' Lump & Teddy. The other one will be X-Rated, just for Flux (not too x-rated though).

She has no arms. Yet.

I'll see what I can do, I wasn't sure if I wanted clothes or not at the time I started drawing her, and I ended up with that.

And, ahahahahahahahahaha. He'll love that. :3
Fucking awesome!
