Has anybody read these books and thus can provide a nice little spoiler free review for me? I read the prologue and some of the first chapter on some site, and I read a plot synopsis while avoiding huge spoilers. It sounds nifty but if I bought the first, I'd have to buy the sequel and spinoff graphic novel with it because that's how I roll. That would make it a bit of a hefty purchase(roughly $40, that's a lot for me being that I'm currently unemployed until Christmas) so I just want to try to get confirmation that it'd be worth it.

Also, if I did get them, should I get the US or UK versions? I'm pretty sure they were first released in the UK, so some shit could be missing from the US versions, but I only think that because some shit was missing from the US Clockwork Orange and now I'm paranoid of US novels that didn't start as US novels. It looks like I couldn't get Seeing Redd in hardcover if I went with UK which infuriates me. I'm either getting both US hardcover or both UK paperback. Mix-matching in any way is unacceptable.
