Far more than half the country is stupid like you. Being a republican might indicate some general level of mental deficiency (or evil), but that doesn't mean you can't be a democrat and an idiot. Most people are idiots. Idiots can be tricked into believing anything, not just lies.

That said, I'm not a Democrat. They're just the most convenient wall I've found to erect between myself and the Republicans.

Oh and my vote doesn't count for the presidential election, Massachusetts always goes Democrat. It does, however, count for the decriminalization question. :D

Quote from: Flux;1431548Why is this even a big deal if the popular vote doesn't matter hmm hmm hmmmmmm? So far this election it's been like this:

"Your vote doesn't even count."
"My vote doesn't even count."
"I don't even bother, it's not like it counts, it's the electoral college that matters."
"Fuck, they're changing our votes! This is crazy, we're going to have an illegitimate president!"

Maybe even the people who bitch about how their vote doesn't count are just able to shut the fuck up for a moment in light of a real problem surfacing?

If you don't think your vote counts, I don't see why you would care about it being changed.

It's like saying "I don't care if I get apples or oranges, because I'm positive you'll give me oranges anyway", and then flipping shit when you get oranges. You can't not care and care at the same time. Thus people saying they don't care about the election are only saying it to sound cool unless they can say they genuinely don't care about votes being changed.

And obviously that's the case here, so the people saying their vote doesn't count to sound cool are shutting up to devote their attention a real problem.

You presumptuous cock. I've said nothing regarding this and I should: Popular vote doesn't matter, I don't give a shit if it shows 100% of people voting for Ron Paul or Obama or Mccain, it still doesn't matter. Unless you replace all of the electoral colleges with machine voters, then it doesn't matter.

Do you care if votes are being changed?

Slurpee

The popular vote does matter. It just happens to matter 51 times across 50 states plus D.C, instead of just the one time that it should.

The electoral college actually makes switched votes in swing states MORE important, because they have a much bigger pull than a single switched vote would otherwise.

RomanClock

Just don't vote since your vote is worthless.
My vote on the other hand...
lemayo lol :soups:

I'm glad in Canada we just put an X in a circle. That's hard to fuck up.

Yeah but your milk is in bags.

I say pretty easy. Like.. anything sharp is an enemy to your calcium intake. And when you pour it, you're holding it by something with only slightly more definite a form than the very thing it's holding.

Marlin Clock

I don't understand why the EC doesn't distribute votes based on localized popluar vote instead of states being winner take all. That would make a lot more sense.

poopbutt

OH 2000 HOW YOUR VOTING MACHINES SWITCH! OH 2000 HOW WE DON'T GET TO CHOOSE BUH BUH BUH. THE JEWS IN OH FLORIDA COULDN'T READ THE BALLET AND IF THEY DID IT WOULD BE DIMPLED YEAH YEAH! Makes sense, kinda. I don't see why you'd have to take multiple trips to the grocery store for multiple gallons of milk when it's in a jug but not a bag, though.

Marlin Clock

Quote from: CadillacClock;1432509I don't think I have ever had a broken milk bag in the way that you're describing. It's pretty sturdy plastic. You do not hold the bag when you pour it, you place the bag into a jug and then pour it from there.

The purpose of buying them in bags is for easier storage. You can buy 3 - 6 bags at a time and store them easily rather than taking multiple trips to the store.
I don't know about you, but buying it in bulk doesn't make a lot of sense when milk goes bad pretty fast anyway.

Also the bag-in-jug still doesn't look very convenient compared to a sturdy container.

Also how do you close up a bag after opening it?

my family drinks 6 bags of milk a week, and you don't close the bag, why would you?

it works quite well.

anyway, voter fraud seems to be really common in these elections, first there was a stupid loophole that put a loser in charge of the country, then broken voting machines in black neighbourhoods get him re-elected, and now john mccain might win the same way.

and the worst part, is that john mccain is complaining about Acorn destroying the fabric of democracy.

Well really if you think about it a bag with an equivalent amount of volume to our jugs is going to take up the same space.

How much volume is in a bag anyway?
