Inspiration at work/school vrs home

I've always, always, been able to draw much better at school then I ever could at home. The same apparently goes for work as I currently have a job where I can sneak in a little doodling time. It seems that procrastination is my muse. Meaning, when I have something I have to do that I don't want to do, I am able to draw out a much better image then I could just sitting down and doing it at home.

So my question is, how can I summon up the same inspiration I get from work while I am at home?

And on a kinda related follow up question, I work 10-12 hour shifts four days a week. I get Fri-Sun completely off, but I can't bring myself to do jack shit in the art department. This weekend, I had flash open the whole time, and you know what I drew? A big square, a smaller rectangle inside that square, and my FrostShell symbol pasted into it. ...thats it. You think it's an exhaustion thing? I was considering taking up coffee.

Well that's the thing. I do tons of stuff at work and have a pile of great stuff. But I can't do anything with it cause when I'm at home I morph into a human lump.

you probably only need to get into the habit of spending time on these things at home

work fucking drains the shit out of you, i havent been able to propperly deal with this myself.

I'm with digital lemon, it's all in your head. Arty stuff takes a lot of time and often isn't very rewarding so you kind of don't want to do it even if you do. Eventually you have to face up to that and say ok fuck it I'll do it anyway and after that it becomes much easier. I only got to that point last year and I've been much happier since.

I cannot do anything really useful unless I'm in a lab, once I get home I just sit down at my desk and internet constantly.
