I'd like to say I don't believe in race. I mean I do, and I prolly always will, but it's kind of stupid to. For instance, I'm 1/16th Cherokee. You could never fucking tell with my blue eyes/blonde hair/pale as fuck skin, but I am. So am I not white? And if I am, where is the line drawn? My dad looked white, but was 1/8th. My grandpa also looked Hella' white and he was a fucking quarter. Same thing with Obama. Most people call him black, but he's half. And even saying that is kind of absurd, because it implies there's such a thing as 100% one race, and that's just stupid.

There isn't anybody who's 100% one race anymore.  I'm sure if everybody looked back far enough in their family tree they'd find somebody who belonged to a different race in there.  Still, it's undeniable that there are different, biological races out there in the world.  There are also people who are mixed to the point where it's hard to tell.  If anything, that's a reason to believe race is a reality, since race-mixing creates confusion on who belongs to what race.    

Also, if you look white, then you're most likely white.  If you look black, then you're most likely black, etc.  That's a good line to draw, if anything.

You are mistaken sir.  In the year 2012, Hitler will come out of hiding to lead the Great Race War of 2012, in which all non-white races of the world will be cleansed, as well as all race traitors.  Then the souls of the cleansed mongoloids will be reincarnated as white people, and the Earth will enter an era of peace and prosperity.

Then somebody will fuck it up for everybody and God will turn a portion of the population black (see Mormonism) and then there will be chicken shortages and race riots.

Not gonna happen. Race is like language - constantly morphing and developing. We'll just have different races with different origins 1,000 years from now, not a lack of race. The only way we could all become one race is if we experienced a gigantic genetic bottleneck, and even then it's only temporary, as indeed shown by our having gone through such bottlenecks before.

He's also acting like if you can't list a specific HARDCORE-ass example of racism in your life it doesn't exist. You can tell when people don't like you if they respond a certain way to you that can be pretty damned subtle.

In addition, it often requires training not common to the average individual to be able to articulate the things that you pick up on naturally, as with anything. So you could get the message without being able to read it.

I agree with is for the most part, but the problem with comparing it to language is that that is one human trait which is becoming homogenized at an alarming rate. About 7.5% of all existing languages are nearing extinction. (That's 516 according to SIL Ethnologue which monitors this sort of thing).

Very interesting video, although many of the points he tries to get across could have been done better. What is known as "racism" in North America is quite different than many nations around the globe experience. The way I see it, the idea of racism is a bi-product of the culture over here.
