The manga is very good as well, it's only two volumes so you could probably just read the whole thing twice in an hour at Barnes & Noble. I actually prefer the manga ending to the anime ending, and the art style is incredibly unique.

I found it pretty cluttered myself. It was nice, but everything seemed so squashed together, especially with its black and white and shades of gray color scheme.

It takes a little while to get used to it but I was able to make sense of it midway through the first volume, then I reread it.
