So I bought xenogears off of ebay a couple weeks ago..

Its a fucking great game and i'm sure most of you have atleast heard of it..

So anyway I bought this used off of ebay and I didnt want a GH version because I fancy myself a black label as they're much more appealing to the eyes (Especially the discs) that being said, the guy labled its condition as "Very Good" and claimed they were 100% playthrough tested. So I fucking bought the shit for about $45 only to receive the game a week later.

The case was in fucking terrible condition with cracks all over and one so large it literally almost splits the case in half. The manual was also missing and the discs had scratches all over them. To top it all off the asshole put scotch tape on the case and scotch tape is fucking impossible to get off. I easily replaced the case with another one but the discs are the most important part of the package.

At first they worked perfectly but around the 2nd to last cut scene of the first disc the game began freezing terribly.. I managed to skip it by pressing the start button and later watched it on Youtube so I could ensure my understanding of the overall plot. Around 35 hours into the first disc I finished the last boss and anxiously awaited the final cutscene and the disc swap immediately following what was sure to be some epic shit. Unfortunately, the game completely freezes and dies right before the cutscene even starts.

So basically TL ; DR
I bought xenogears off ebay, it was a fucking horrible mistake biggest waste of fucking money in my fucking life and I got really fucking into it only to find out I cant swap to disc 2 and finish the fucking game.



Now I have to buy another copy

Oh on a lighter note I managed to snag Valkyrie profile aswell for only $50... It's in much better shape..

I kinda did and he's claming that the case got cracked during the shipping process which is complete bullshit as the crack is clearly visible in the picture (I shouldve noticed this to begin with but its kinda hard to see unless you know exactly where its at).

I basically just left him negative feedback and told him to learn how to fucking describe the product properly. "Very good" doesn't quite do the game justice when it doesnt even fucking work.

Too be honest the thing that pissed me off the most was the scotch tape all over the case like he tried to tape the cracks together or some stupid shit..

I might post pics later if I can find what I did with the shitty case.
