Quote from: Waldo;1733411There's a bunch of types of controllers for the pc. I have two 360 controllers for my pc.

Also, I have a gaming notebook, so I can indeed play from a couch. On top of that, it's not hard to hook modern pcs up to modern TV's, and there are wireless mice and keyboards aplenty.

I use a wiimote + bluetooth stick on my pc to play emulator games

a wiimote and nunchuck are pretty good as a N64 controller and the classic remote works for most vintage consoles

I need a sensor a bar so i can use my wiimote as a mouse as well

I recommend just getting the cheaper one. I have a 40 GB and I'm nowhere close to filling it up. Replacement hard drives are pretty cheap, but I don't think the PS3 works with an external.

And I doubt you'll need the memory card readers or USB ports.

Well its the difference between "derp we should ban fatty foods" and "I am going to literally rape every american child after you vote me in"

Quote from: Waldo;1733405Resistance series, Killzone 2, InFamous, God of War series, Uncharted series, Gran Turismo series, Ninja Gaiden Sigma series, Demon's Souls, Motorstorm: Pacific Rift, Little Big Planet, WipEout HD, etc... PS3 has plenty of great exclusives.

Also, yeah, putting in a hard drive is easy, at least on the new model of ps3 which is the one I got. Mine came with a 120 gig, I haven't gotten all the games I want off of PSN yet nor have I gotten all the Disk based games I want yet and I only have 50 GB left, so yeah, 40 gigs doesn't cut it. I'd say get the 120 gb small model, it's quite nice. This one By the time you'd need more space you'll probably have the money for a bigger hard drive.

(Ninja Gaiden Sigma's kind of a cop-out but I agree otherwise) Also Ratchet and Clank series, Metal Gear Solid 4, and Hefty Rain, as I like to call it. Not to mention some bitchin' DL games like Flower.

Get the Slim, it's better and around the same price.

Don't get the 40gb. I've had one about a year and a half and I'm struggling with the space.

Try managing your installs. MGS4 and Fallout 3 both have 4GB installs. You can delete the installs of games you're not playing without touching your save data, that's in a diff. folder.

Oh also I just got Socom Confrontation. That's another great exclusive.

Ignore the reviews on it, it got bad reviews due to game breaking glitches and horible lag problems, but since that terrible release they've fixed all of those problems with a few patches. On top of that it's extremely popular. At any time, even the middle of the night, there are thousands of people playing.
Also it's a lot of fun, but if you plan on getting it, you need the dlc and you should have a headset. You'll sometimes be kicked out of a game if you don't have a headset.
You can get it on disk, or on disk with a headset in a bundle, or directly from psn.

EDIT: Also Burnout Paradise is better on the PS3, and I like SoulCalibur IV more on the PS3 too. These aren't exclusives though.

EDIT2: MAG is pretty good too. Not the best shooter, but not bad. I'm sure it will get better over time too.

Sales have gone way up for ps3 since the price drop with the new model and all the great games that came out for it in 2009. They are probably selling out in your area.

If you get one, pm me your psn name so I can add you to my friends list.

EDIT: That was aimed at everyone rather than just screwdriver.
