Yeah I found that out. Basically the game isn't willing to break its mythology in order to suit gaming conventions, which is pretty cool in its own way.

Damn this rocks. I don't think I've ever played an RPG with better combat. Even though you can't play with specific friends, I still think the game's online play is pretty awesome. I really enjoy everything about this game. This is turning into one of my absolute favorite PS3 games and one of my favorite RPGs in general.
