I seem to remember a Peppermint Clock from before. I'd say it's probably best to just change your name to avoid any confusion. Don't you want to come up with something entirely original? Don't you want to be known for who you are and no who the previous Peppermint was? Besides it's really not that important which inanimate object your clock represents as long as it's original and creative.

Wow, I take a look at this thread and suddenly there is a whole other page of comments But guys, I'm not gonna change it, I thought of this clock all on my own. I deserve to be able to keep this clock, if only 1% of people can remember the clock then obviously he wasn't around long enough for anyone to really notice. Plus, he's NOT IN THE REGISTRY, which gives me the right to use the clock. I'm going to create PeppermintClock by my own standards, and he'll probably be nothing like this old PeppermintClock (if you could really say there ever was one). PeppermintClock is no longer just a name to me, it's become a part of who I am, if I have the rights t keep it then I'm going to keep it. And that;s the way I want it to stay

That is something I actually looked into before confirming Marlin Clock as my name. That's why even though I logged on to Newgrounds august 16th to find Clock Day 05 flash on the front page, I didn't join 'till the next day.
