I'm working on a minecraft planning app in Papervision3D and wanted to know if anyone here had experience with it or any of the other 3D libraries for flash that I could bug for questions, one of them being how to pan something effectively.

here's my experiment so far if anyone wants to see - click on the grid or other blocks to build cobblestone. (obviously there's no shadows or anything, just a test)

This is awesome, I just sat and clicked in one spot until the blocks spiraled out into my face.

holy shit man. I think the whole Minecraft community would go bonkers for this.

I know you probably thought of this, but it would be nice to have some kind of outline around the edge of the block side you are pointing at and about to add on to:

panning was smooth and responsive for me, I have a pretty fast internet connection and great computer.

you guys do realise that minecraft has a 3d mode already?

Thunderbolt

This looks realy great, can't wait to see it with an extra axis

EDIT: It already has an extra axis. Maby you could make it so you can swap layers so you don't accidentaly add it to a different layer (like in the Voxel Editor)
