They're a japanese noise rock band. They sound a bit like Era Vulgaris by Queens of the Stone Age but even more abrasive. I love them. They're one of the few japanese rock bands that arent "j-rock". Kicks the shit out of Dir En Grey. And unlike j-rock bands they arent afraid to do something different with every album and not release an album thats just the same song 12 times. Though they DO have one song on their experimental album that sounds like it'd be an anime theme song. That one took me off guard.

Of course, they've also made drone-doom stuff. Also that last song was pretty surprising/good. Yes, Japan has something of a history with noise-rock bands.

I don't listen to a lot of Japanese music. But this is the first Japanese rock band I have heard that doesn't seem like a parody to me.

These guys and the pillows are the only japanese rock bands I'm aware of that arent dumb. I hear there's a few good 80s punk and post punk bands from Japan but I dont remember who they are. Best musician in Japan though, Chu Ishikawa. But he's too busy acting to make music. His soundtracks for the Tetsuo movies are fucking amazing.
