Finished, I loved some parts like some of the character development (the little there was)

Likes and loves:
Two scientists.
Rift concept.
Parts of the ending.
Colours.
Two of the recordings.

Dislikes and hates:
Easy game even on hard but not made for it, since some moments (boss, ending) was fucking horrible on hard.
The underused potential of the setting and the rifts.
Parts of the ending.
To much bloomeffect.
The fact that only two of the recordings stood out.
Extremely boring antagonists compared to Bioshock.
Once again, the underused potential of the settings AND powers... Some powers you get so late that they seem pointless and some have great mechanics in theory but have little places of application (I mean christ sake, a force-push power that you can't use half of the game... When in a city in the clouds? It should be a field-day of fun with it but most of the time it's corridor shooter.
The fact that the racism is portrayed in a ridiculous manner, some cops beating a black worker whilst they swear at him and call him racial slurs would be a good way to show what actually did happen and sometimes happen yet today, instead all we see of it is almost a homely humoristic side.

Overall a good game, some parts very good and every shooter should learn from them, some parts abhorrent and I'm angry that games still do this. Like underwhelming villains, you either make them exotic like The Joker, or you make them empathetic like Andrew Ryan. You do not make them into charicatyres where their only lines are "I hate smiles and kittens" and "Hey protagonist, you're a poopoo-head!"
Dead Space 3 made this mistake, Bioshock Infinate makes this mistake, Starcraft 2 HOTS makes this mistake.

Play it, enjoy it, decide for yourself. This might be GOTY but if so not because it won it by storm but because no other game would deliver a better cake.

my short opinion, i liked it some, but not worth 60 dollars. I expeccted so much more from ttrailers and older media
