how can i download videos from NG?

hello, how can i download videos from newgrounds? (of NG-movies that are in video-like form)
i mean, i was successful at doing this until recently, when my vid downlading program got removed from FF(firefox), and now i cannot download vids from newgrounds anymore. (they are in a different format? im not sure, and swivup isnt helping either.).

tl;tr

HEEELP me! show me, how can i download videos from newgrounds? (of NG-movies that are in video-like form)

HOKAY SO to do this without addongs, gitcho page source and ctrl+F for "embedController" (no quotes) then look near the beginning of the garbldygook for a URL with escape slashes

http:\/\/uploads.ungrounded.net\/alternate\/1074000\/1074136_alternate_43245.mp4 from our example

now erase the escapey slashes to get a real URL: http://uploads.ungrounded.net/alternate/1074000/1074136_alternate_43245.mp4

however, i do need to say this: the video that i downloaded is now ~500 mbs large, since its a mp4.
is there a way that i can get the vid in a smaller filesize, on lower(or decent) quality?
(such as a .web file, or a .mov, .avi or even a .wmp file?)

otherwise, do you know any good addons for this job?

thank you! i already know this function, but sadly, many movies in NG that are submitted with the ''video'' format, they dont have the .swf alternative, and thats why im so desperate to find a new method to download those NG vids...
