I thought of a new idea for a Clock Crew game, I wanna hear what you all think.

The idea came when Octopus posted, "clock crew hello kitty online game when" in the Discord, and that got my brain running. It'd be like an adventure game, with a top down overworld, it'd take place in the setting of an online Hello Kitty game that got abandoned, so its this rundown looking amusment part place filled with wires and shit. It'd be really dark visually too, with the whole game being at night. The gameplay would consist of StrawberryClock running around the world, freeing captured Clocks of which there is 20, killing all the Kitties, and finding Kitty Cogs. Ill elaborate a bit more on that in a bit.

The story consists of all the Clocks just waking up in this weird place, and trying to escape. It's simple and kinda lazy, but I think it does the job. Progression through the story is simple. There are 4 bosses spread throughout the world, each containing Kitty Cogs you need to escape. But its not as easy as that, as the main progression gimmick is the signal tower. This is in the first area of the game, and leaving the area that the signal tower distributes to will cause an "ERROR: No connection", or basically just kill the player. Collecting a Kitty Cog though, will allow the player to upgrade the tower, opening more of the map. The other required collectible is the Clocks! There are 20 of them spread throughout the area, and you need all of them, the list of Clocks is as follows:

RedbookClock
OctopusClock
BB10Clock
DoggoClock
NintendoClock
BrazilClock
VCRClock
AbsintheClock
ScrewdriverClock
RobClock
PolyhedronClock
GreyClock
PhantomCatClock
IronClock
ampmClock
ThorClock
SlurpeeClock
SuccubusClock
DoraClock
PinClock
BoltClock

The Map is split into 16 areas, each with a letter and number on a grid (e.g, A-4, C-2, B-1, ect.), so there's one or two Clocks in each area. Each of these Clocks has an ability that can be triggered at anytime, and can be bound to the keys 1-9. Abilities would be stuff like ampmClock giving Strawberry some sake, which would make him stronger for some time, NintendoClock farting really hard, repelling overworld enemies from coming near you, or Redbook's stone smashing ability, letting you find Manifestoes to add to his ever growing collection, as a side collectible.

Combat would be similar to Zelda 2, Touch an overworld enemy, and you be put into a small 2D area where you fight them with basic punches and slaps. The fun part is using your Clock abilities to your advantage!

Anyway, I have more shit, like the bosses and enemies, but I think I'll leave it there for now. I think this walking a fine line between cool ideas and insane autism, so thats interesting.

RobClock

I think it's a fine idea on paper and other than that, I'd have to judge it based on some sort of functioning build
