Since the recent bot problem we've been having, also black jack strategy card, we should really tighten up our protection a bit. Capachas aren't enough nowadays. Is there a implementation of those rapidshare cats somewhere?

Asshatclock

We should have fingerprint identification and iris scanning while were at it.

Slurpee

I'm sure they cost next to nothing to produce, so not a lot of people have to click on them... yeah, I don't know.

I'm all in favor of keeping them out.

Bigglesnoots

Quote from: weenie roast;1320919i wasn't aware that bots themselves could register and defeat the captcha system, unless it's actually a human registration and afterwards bots are posting. nevertheless, i think a Q&A system should be put in place, just to see if it would work.

We need stronger IIDX protection!

I think most of them aren't actually programmed to keep trying the activation link for seven days - so we're actually avoiding quite a lot of spam.

Some are getting through, but i've just added the main email addresses they're using (eg. @mail.ru) to the blacklist. I'll continue to do that.
