Um, you sound like you did it right.
Just change the bandages every once in a while and clean the cuts with peroxide at least daily, two to three times if possible for about a week.

That's what I was taught when I went in for CPR training anyway.

yeah if you leave the glass inside your foot, it won't migrate the same way it came it, since that's where your foot is going to heal again and push the glass further in.

Its not that hard to stitch yourself.

at least feet tend to heal quickly in my experience. be sure all the glass is out, use a good disinfectant - Dettol is good, If you have it in the states - And use steri strips to hold any bigger cuts closed.

dettol is also a very strong cleaning product



be sure you pick the right bottle.

Update on these feet. All the smaller cuts healed up nicely, and I've got some nice thick sturdy scabbing with no cracking. A lot of the skin just sort of flapped back into place. There's still a couple of rough spots that I'll have to keep an eye on but it's going pretty good. I can also tolerate walking on it for longer periods of time.
