Firefox Flash Player Problem

Any time I try to watch something on youtube or newgrounds or something, it freezes after about 2 seconds and doesn't do anything else. I can still browse and everything but with no entertainment.

Already reinstalled by the way.

EDIT: Well, it seems to have fixed itself after I closed Firefox. Though this has still been going on for a while now, and I would still like to know what the problem is.

Do you have the latest flash player installed?
if so, try allocating more memory to firefox

This problem has been annoying me for a while, so I am thinking about switching to a different internet browser. Any suggestions?

Edit: Actually, since I already have all of my bookmarks organized in a very specific way, switching browsers would be too much of a hassle unless it can carry my bookmarks over. I guess I will just wait for somebody to find a solution.

I have the same problem. Usually I just close Firefox and open it up again and it all works.

okay so I actually searched for a solution now, I'm surprised you guys didn't find this yourselves! It's pretty simple, install Flash Player 10 (it's the beta, but who cares!)

I'm not sure what it'll be called, some sources say CS4, some say Flash 10, others mention Flash Next.
There was like a huge convention to discuss all the new stuff they'll put it a while ago.

Same problem here I just downloaded safari and use that for flash movies and such.

More like a ton of things got a whole lot cooler. Seriously, Flash 10 is amazing me so far. Way better pf an upgrade then CS3 which is why I stuck with 8.

I've been having the same problem periodically. I had to restart the computer to get it to work again the first time.
Maybe I'll download the new plugin and see if that works... If not, I'm switching to Safari or Opera. Internet Explorer is highly unreliable nowadays (it freezes easily).

EDIT: Ironically, right after I made this post, Firefox crashed on me. I had Sundial's sig Flash playing in the window at the same time, so that was a contributing factor.

CS3 was only released for AS3.

I hate it when people whine about how CS3 didn't have anything new. AS3 is a pretty big deal you know, people spent months working their asses off on it. If you don't care for it, fine, but don't whine that CS3 was a useless upgrade.

CS3 also came with some cool options, but, nothing to be amazed.
