I seem to have lost a recovery/ restoration disk for windows. Have disk #2 but not #1. I have a copy of xp home edition, but when I install it on my HD  and reboot it gives me NTOSKRNL.EXE is missing or corrupt. I have a toshiba A105.

Heliopios

Give me a model type and I could find you a blank(piracy related work) of it rather simply
:]

Heliopios

Can't find anything for a105, found one for a55 and shit like that. You could call/email the makers of the computer and request a new one.

Or you could go to a local circuit city/independent computer fixer and ask around if anyone could help you out.
:]

AnchorClock

What can you find for toshiba A100 or later models?

Heliopios

Nothing, actually.

Some tech stores might still have them in stock if they don't have the up-to-the-week stocks. You could ask for a disk if they're cool.

Just do a clean wipe and download the drivers off the net.

yeah my brother has a toshiba satellite a100 that didn't even come with a recovery disk, he fucked it up, i fixed it, just do a fresh install of your OS of choice and download the drivers as previously stated.

be warned though you may have to burn your network drivers to a disk beforehand so you can download the other ones.
