Agreed, though I thought the RE4 hedge maze was pretty good, mostly because it was a horribly pathetic excuse for a maze, with obvious landmarks, treasure everywhere, and it could be solved in about 11 seconds (sagacious as I am.)

Zombies Ate my Neighbors' hedge maze also gets points because you could get the chainsaw guys to cut holes through it.

People who don't know how to use their class in a class based game

Anyone that acts as food for enemies that get stronger for everything that they kill.

Games like Final Fantasy which have no checkpoints, only save points.
34324 random encounters per 2 steps.
Annoying soundtracks.
Stupid tutorials.
Quests which involve you looking for an enemy that is rare and will have you looking for it 6 hours.
Stupid characters, NPCs or not.

Stupid endings
Missions that are long and if you lose close to the end you have to start over.

My friend completely gave up on one of the dot hack games because you had to search for some code only certain enemies had. He just looked up the ending on the internet.

Adding Sluggish mouse response that you can't modify, as well as weapons that need around 5 direct hits to kill an enemy, but each projectile has an actual flight time, moves slowly, and the enemy keeps moving about.
