While my laptop isn't the greatest, I have grown to live its tiny, low keyboard. everything is close together with no wasted space, and they are quiet. It is great for gaming. I need to buy a new keyboard for my desktop because the one I am on now is terrible.

What I want is:

Slim
Low
No wasted space, especially between keys and around the edges.

2 possibilities are:

Matches my desired specs, but has mac command keys on it. Not sure if extra keys are good or bad.

This one looks cool and has an extra backslash key, it is so cheap I might just take a chance on it. It seems like it might have some problems though, and almost everywhere you look they no longer carry the item, That might be a bad thing. Still it just looks so cool.

A mac keyboard, those look nice and slim. but they are all white! Also more pricey, but at least I know it will be a good product.

Any thoughts?

If anyone else knows any good slim keyboards I would like to take a look at them.

Newer Mac Keyboards are solid aluminum. But that Kensington probably has a Windows version as well out there or something.

The kensington works on both Windows and Mac. It's kind of weird how they made a separate key for the Start button and the mac one, instead of integrating them into a single button.

Just get a normal sized keyboard and flatten it with something heavy.

To be fair, you don't have anything. Clocks are just machines that tick.

If you truly want a keyboard that's great for gaming, get the Merc Stealth.
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16823239006&Tpk=merc%20stealth
Completely programmable keypad on the left, with setups for a few hundred games that are constantly updated with new games. You can even make your own setup.
Also it lights up Red, Blue, or Purple.

I would also suggest The Logitech G15. If you have more money, the G19. If you don't have much money, the G11.

The merc stealth is the closest thing to "Slim" out of these, but the greatest gaming keyboards, at least in my opinion, are not going to be super thin.

I won it in a Twitter competition and it is small and thin. I would use it but I of course won the limited edition black version which has black letters printed on black keys. But the version that is available now has silver lettering. Also the media keys in the corner are awesome and work while ingame unlike my Logitech which makes you have to have iTunes or Winamp be your primary window in order to control it.

I got the second one, it is quite nice.
dunno much about the first one but it appears to be similar to the second.
The second being incredibly slim and small, great for me because it doesn't take up much space.
