MSN with problems, please help

You see, sometimes I don't get some of the messages that my contacts post, and they don't get some of mine either. This is of course quite frustrating, because MSN doesn't warn either of us of this fact. I can't even have a normal conversation over MSN currently, so I'm using an third-party application, and it works fine over there.

I already tried reinstalling, but it didn't work. Any ideas?

dont use messenger but something else (try ebuddy)

Is that the same one as messenger 2009, because I use that one and the previous version I used had the same problems you have

Did you install anything that might interfere with it recently? (Firewalls come to mind)

You could also go looking for an older version of Messenger on microsoft's site.

Or you could use Pidgin and get my super secret clock crew smiley pack so you can see CC smileys when I type them.

What did you do to reinstall? Did you reinstall it through the uninstaller or download a new copy?

Ok I was gonna say if you did it through the uninstaller to try downloading a new copy. After you uninstalled, did you look to see if it left any files behind?
