[Fireman]

There's nothing more annoying than seeing some idiot copying stuff he likes without understanding what makes it good.

I used to really enjoy the concept of mock propaganda. But then I saw just about every piece of mock propaganda was pretty much "hurr durr commies".

[SirClock]

Oh man that last one is horrible. The rest of them are nice but wow that last one.

Really! Thats done by Abdul Mati Klarwein, an incredibly unknown artist who was incredibly critisized in his day because of his apparant lack of any sense of "rules" as a painter. He's one of my favorite psychedelic artists, I find his work genius.

That's a pretty interesting thing to be influenced by though. Just make sure you properly think about it and figure out what it is that makes you like these things and use that in your own art.

Indeed. My passion is even more into the messages of such art than the art itself. The great thing about it, is such messages are extremely difficult to communicate in any matter, and so to me the art is simply the most effective tool for this purpose.

To me, the best art is the art in which the message attempted to be communicated most clear and strong.
