If there is a visual recording device for each person in the world, and it has recorded for an average of one year, that would only be around 7 billion years.

It's hard to tell because there's no way to know for sure how many cameras are running at any given time. Regardless, I think it's safe to say we'll pass the universe age in at least a decade.

I'm sort of assuming that the few places with a TON of cameras (like banks, government facilities, some rich people's homes, ect) and the large amount of chain stores that have a few cameras (every walmart, most gas stations, most fast food chains) make up for the large amount of people who DON'T ever use recording devices.

Regardless, if you had an infinite lifespan to watch all video sequentially and video-producing races were around forever as well, you would never stop.

Wouldn't the recording devices be recording the same time? Seeing as there is only 1 time, so the recorded time would never exceed actual time. Someone on the other side of the world would just be recording the same time from a different angle.
