Only thing i'd say is decide if you're going to make a pocket or not, because it looks like he's hiding a credit card under his shirt or something.

Your shading on the Santa needs more depth. In particular, the lighting on the hat doesn't give any feeling of contour or fold, and the shadow on the shoulder doesn't curve any around the joint. Anatomy-wise, he has no thenar eminence, leading to weird visual interpretations of the index finger, like that it's at a weird angle or too thin near the first knuckle.

I never thought of blurring a layer of shading before. I should try that.

Your line work looks like an uncleaned sketch. Your color work and your gradient work is pretty shoddy too. Maybe you should consider the overall negative space more before you commit a line to the paper. A little trick I use to keep consistent lighting (I forget if I'm not looking at it) is to draw a marble in the corner that you can easily cover up. This way you know where the light is coming from and you can be consistent.

There's always more to improve on as far as color and shading, but considering these drawings seem more to be gestural line sketches I doubt that was your area of interest anyways.

I would say foremost to simply work on the gestural quality of your lines. I'm not suggesting a more 'smooth/clean' line, but rather even more spontaneous ones. As others said study the negative space to help create a 'flow' to your gestures.

Also pay attention to where you have thinner and thicker lines (in the santa sketch especially). You can use them to suggest shading and contribute the the movement through your sketches. And never worry about being too sketchy.
