Saw this last night on tv. At first I thought it was some kind of crazy yo yo. It's actually just a fancy ball and these people are doing stupid tricks that you could basically do with any ball..

It's an acrylic ball used most of the time in contact juggling. You can find videos online and, yeah, you can basically do this stuff with any ordinary ball.

Yes, the commercial implies that the ball somehow makes the gravity defying tricks possible. You can usually find contact juggling balls in the mall. But I'm certain this requires a helluva lot more practice than the infomercial implies.
