Slurpee

Quote from: SilverCherryClock;1763454lmao californians are even snobs about earthquakes
imagine if you lived in a place that once every twenty years or so the mayor had to fight off a 300 pound giant rat with his mayoral chainsaw.
inside your cultural sphere, it is completely insane to think that a 100 pound rat would even be worth discussing. 100 pound rats are so commonplace for you that you don't even know how to express it short of a labored earthquake metaphor. the only thing that happens when 100 pound rats show up is a short discussion over dinner about when the big one is coming.

AmberArachnidClock

Yeah like over here in Portland we close schools over three inches of snow and call it a Winter Blast.

PowerGloveClock

Quote from: clammo;1763511the 100 lb rat is a big deal to people dont experience them on a daily basis
thats his point
Quote from: FLOUNDERINYOBUTT;1837615I think Kodiak is the only person on  this entire website who dislikes Slurpee. I still dont understand how  thats possible. He\'s so loveable and funny. Every guy wants to be his  friend and every girl wants to date him. Understandably Slurpee is not a  very happy person.

GearBoxClock

I could kinda feel it. I was half-asleep when it hit though.

F U Clock

Felt it in good oooooooooold Syracuse, NY. I thought the woman who sits across from we was like, shaking our desks in a pulsing fashion.

It was kind of a pussy Earthquake in retrospect. But I'll be damned if we didn't raise Hell about it.

BunnyClock

300lb?? That's a little baby rat man

WrenchClock

I've slept through so many earthquakes, but this one time a tremor made the wooden floorboards in the school hall lift up in a perfect semi-sphere. It looked like there was a ten foot wide marble under the school.

Haha yes.

AbsintheClock

It was a first for me too, but I didn't even think about it until I read it on the news. I thought it might have been like construction or something.

Clocktopus

Felt it in Rochester. It wasn't that bad, my desk just shook for a while, I had no idea what was going on, then my friends starting talking about an earthquake and that's when I realized. First time I've actually felt one too.

VirusClock

Aftermath of such a scary earthquake.
.

AMPEEEM

I was listening to Planets and all of a sudden the ground started shaking and I was like whoooa
