I have no qualms with celebrating the subjugation of native americans with copious amounts of food. Love me some stuffing.

Actually Thanksgiving was thought up by a 1850's Martha Stewart type woman who read story about a big feast that didn't actually happen.  Then she got all her fans to do it and then she sent Abraham Lincoln a bunch of letters until he made it a national holiday.

At least that's what I read today.

But we did fuck over the Native Americans.  Fucked'em over pretty good.
