Good PS3 imports?

I've been looking around for some import-only PS3 games, and I didn't find too many. That, and they're crazy expensive, even on eBay.

Anybody got a good site to buy imports from? And any particular ps3 imports of interest?

I don't think the PS3 has that much region exclusive games though, why would you want to import unless you bought a PS3 from another region?

This. I can't actually think of a game off the top of my head for PS3 that would need to be imported. Most games worth noting have been released across all regions.

Maybe obscure indie games but I don't think those will be importable anyway due to the nature of their distribution.

Well for one ps3's are region free (the games, at least). I have an incredibly scratched up PAL copy of GoW 3 and it runs just fine.

It's just always interesting to play games that aren't available here. Alot of them are shit, but there are some good ones out there. A few ones that look interesting are Imabikisou, Siren: New translation, Nier Replicant and Red seeds profile.

There'd also be the possibility of buying a japanese Playstation network card, making a japanese profile and see what good games they may have there.

The import games are rather expensive though, rarely under 40$ even for older titles.

Is that really possible? I have one of the first models of the PS3, and live in europe, I would love to get introduced to Chrono Cross, a game that isn't available on our online store.

I've done alot of reasearch and it really seems it is. PS3 has no region coding for any of it's games, as long as you are running through HDMI (as it does the necessary conversions).

1000-yen cards are roughly 20$, 3000 yen are 50$.

Myself, just ordered this game. I'd like to specify I ordered the 'Ultimate hits' edition as it's the only one with english subtitles.
