Yeah, lots of people do LPs of various games... I have a bizarre affinity for obscure PS2 horror games so we plan to do a lot of those. Rule of Rose has a really good plot but terrible fucking gameplay so I figured it'd be more suited to watching.

They make a gaming edition (which we actually got) that's just green and comes with a component cable, but the cable is trash and I just ended up buying one for my PS3 (since my 360 already uses that connection). The video quality it produces is great, but you'll need separate microphones for voiceover. Also the editing program it comes with can give you headaches, I recommend SONY Vegas Pro instead... Most people seem to use it, since it's one of the few editors that can read the weird-ass filetype this creates.

Actually it's very similar. Major difference is it's not really scary at all. Some of the scenes are vaguely disturbing, but if you like SH2 I recommend it.
