My mom saw him at a convention before Trek IV came out (the one he directed). He wouldn't say much about it, but he did say "it'll knock your socks off" and she still loves that. She got him to sign his book for her, too, (the second one, where he was Spock) but I don't know if that was at the same place. (edit: holy hell it must've been way after) She gon' be sad :c
