If I buy a tf2 server:

• Would you play it and get your friends to traffic it?
• Would anyone donate to it?
• Would you care what gamemode was dedicated to it?
• Would you want HLDJ enabled?

I am thinking about buying a 20 slot server with 24/7 arena. We can host different events on it if we need to ala change the map and stuff.
Friday nights would be Surf Night
Donators would get "special privileges" like the ability to slap/slay/kick/ban blobclock

I would like a clock crew TF2 server, but I'm afraid it would go unused like the one Dark Matter Clock had for a while.

Another problem with this idea is that I'm pretty sure Stereo Clock already owns a couple servers that clocks use sometimes.


If me and poly were admins we might be able to work it into a popular server though... I'll talk to you guys on steam later today (I'm at work). We could put in custom game mode rotations (zombie fortress, vs Saxton Hale, ect) without shitting the place up with custom MLP skins or "NO SWEARING THIS IS A CHRISTIAN SERVER" bullshit. I swear I die a little inside every time I join a custom game mode server and I see something like "downloading /models/custom/pedobear". We would also have the advantage of being the server with the best admin team ever.

Donators getting special privileges is alright, as long as it doesn't effect gameplay. Like, having immunity from death during after-round humiliation is alright, but giving them extra health or faster respawn is not okay.

As for your questions: I would try to get other clocks to use the server. I would donate if it got popular. I don't are what the game mode is as long as it has a decent map rotation

Servers have to have it enabled, i enabled it on the surf server cus you cant have surfing without micspam
