There are a lot of things that could be done (and if you like I'll list them), but I doubt it will ever be monetarily successful. The business model of image hosts is not an easy thing to make work.

And about Cloudflare... this is one of those perfect-use-cases for something like their proxy, since the vast majority (95%) of all traffic is from the most recent/popular SWF uploads... Single files that are easily offloaded to the cloudflare CDN.

its not about making money really, its about breaking even since we basically are a non profit organization so anything thats easy to implement that would make the site pay for itself would be welcome
