I happened upon this series by HotDiggedyDemon, a former Newgrounds staple (best know for the Jerry series). I had never seen the My Little Pony show before watching this; I was only generally aware of the brony phenomenon. This series is a combination of MLP, Ren and Stimpy, and a newer Newgrounds comedy sensibility. For whatever reason I think it's really great. Is this a gateway to watching the original show? There is one more installment before the series is over.

Apparently he's banned from a bunch of pony conventions because of these flashes. That's probably a blessing for him honestly.

Yeah, I think you can take it both ways depending on your own biases. Even though there are parts making the usual anti-brony jokes, the author does seem to be pro-MLP. He made a pretty long blog about it.

I haven't heard that, but like the previous point, there are some who like them and some who are offended. Based on his website, he seems to be going to and having panels at brony conventions unironically.

Anyway, I guess it's time to go full-on brony and change my name to TwilightSparkleClock. See you guy at the next convention.
