Well part of it was that it was different than the other games. I've played 4 previous games spanning 7 years that had almost the same driving controls/feel, so when they changed it up it threw me off. It feels a lot looser, especially the fact that a lot of the fast cars are hard to start with because of peeling out, and the turns being very slippery. I think I've gotten used to it (and leveled my characters up enough), so it's not as bad now. I guess it feels more realistic, but it's weird.
