I see a bunch of my old chums down there, guys who never post very often, but like me, still come back. Because this is our home, a place we grew up in and found sanctity away from an unforgiving, idiotic, and downtrodden world. Like me, many of us still linger here because we know the things that this community has given us and we know the great times we had here, and we keep on haunting these halls because we love it (or for some of us we love what it used to be and just can't leave it be). No matter what we see now, be our eyes old or new to these pillars and tapestries, we all see one thing for sure; a unified group, one that is self-governed, and one that continues to- or at least strives to- thrive.

I cherish each and every one of you who lingers here and floats through these sometimes destitute halls. We are ghosts haunting the sanctuary of our glorious past, lingering together in the longhouse of battles past. This is no longer the war house of great men who fought and died, and bled for something better. This very place has become Valhalla itself. And for those who come around and have no words to say, because you may not know what to say, or feel like you have nothing to say, or want not to say anything because you think it is not worth saying I drink tonight for you, for all of us.

I sometimes wish we were a real crew, running around and owning the town and shit, painting it red. We'd be like grease, but with fart jokes and machine guns.
