Yeah, I freelance these days.  Basically me trying to diversify my portfolio and skills as well as make some more connections while I'm off work and make a few bucks as a bonus.  Let me know what you think.

EMIT: http://www.thebackalleys.com/dump/player.php?f=14050
GatherX: http://www.thebackalleys.com/dump/player.php?f=14051

I'm working on a couple more.

I don't have X/Y or a 3DS.  I'll try to get one once I have more spendin' money.

Also I like my new avatar! Who did that?

say, strawberry clock, would you enjoy making a clock-themed game?
i have a few ideas.

your games are amusing, and i would love to see something clock-alike in games.

BB i also got this idea it's like a 1 frame movie with an off center letter, probably red, i'm thinking comic sans but i'm open to other font ideas

EMIT: set that stage quality to low! That'll make the pixel art less fuzzy. Dug the concept, idk if you helped design it, but if you did here are my crits:

The short, fast jump and the arbitrary limit on my x-movement made me feel restricted and claustrophobic. This combined with the amount of lasers on screen and my own slow firing speed made me feel helpless and like the game was punishing me.

The worst part though was when holding down the mouse, every five or so shots my character would just stop shooting and I'd have to reclick. All of this stuff made it kind of a frustrating experience.

I'm sure with the upgrades it gets more fun, but I just wasn't "hooked" into the experience. I can tell a lot of work went into though and I think it's just a few tweaks away from being great. Nice work!

GatherX: is very pretty, I just don't really like these types of games.

hahaha very funny >: )

but seriously, if SBC did a fighter game, like clockken, or clock-fighter (like the one sage-clock did, but more sophisticated in controls), or a cool new platformer, or a new point-an-click game, it would be very cool.

we could also add NG medals, so that people will keep playing it. tt

So you not remember the game we're talkin about?

Coolboyman

I wouldn't mind making a sequel to that game, except with a lot of more thought put into it.

Actually, I wouldn't mind making any kind of Clock game, as long as I had the time to devote to a project along with a crew to help out with.

Nice critique! Thank you!

Lump Clock

I really liked EMIT, super fun. Felt a lot like alien hominid with rpg elements and less cumbersome controls (I'm not that into twitch gaming), so all-around a better game, imo.

PezClock

I liked gatherx more, i'm sorry, but it felt peaceful and it's just so fun to collect fish, eat it, then work. EMIT had the invisible wall glitch, it wont let you walk anywhere besides that one invisible box, you cant go further to avoid the nukes, so it kinda felt like a death trap.
